Excalibur, eh? A castle on the Strip. Gotta give 'em points for commitment to the theme, I guess. It's a family joint, that's for sure. Lots of kids running around, gawking at the knights and the jousting. The casino itself...well, it's a casino. Slots, tables, the usual grind. Nothing stands out, nothing's particularly bad. It's like a Denny's – you know what you're getting. The restaurants are decent, if a bit overpriced. You're paying for the location, not the culinary artistry. The rooms are...rooms. Clean enough, I suppose. If you're looking for luxury, this ain't it. But if you got kids and you want a Vegas experience without breaking the bank, Excalibur could be worse. Just remember, kid, "The house always wins." Even in a castle. So, go for the jousting, maybe skip the slots. You'll have more fun, and your wallet will thank you. Like Tom Waits said, "You gotta keep the devil way down in the hole." And sometimes, that hole is a casino.
